The great classic, a real bargain for a 28 year old Burgundy. We must have drunk this wine twenty times in the last 20 years and were mostly enthusiastic about the different stages of age. The philosophy is clear: the yields are around 20-25 hl/ha and are therefore extremely low. What a sensual and ingenious fragrance. Ripe sour cherries and raspberries, smoky minerality, noble hints of herbs and spices, to fall in love with. Nice! Delicacy and finesse are the cardinal virtues of a great Pinot Noir. Expected maturity now until 2027.
