2003 Paulillac

A long-time favorite among in-the-know Bordeaux connoisseurs. A very nice scent with spice, dried herbs, lots of cassis and clear tobacco notes, very complex. Concentrated on the palate, but not fat, very athletic, razor-sharp tannins, top acidity, the fruit is crisp, the alcohol is not excessive, the wine shows a grandiose arc of tension from the beginning to the end. Red fruit back aromas, spice. Excellent once again, not to say the best I've tasted here so far. Estimated maturity now until 2030.
