The Côte de Nuits stretches from Marsannay down to Corgoloin. Due to its proximity to Difon , the former wine village of Marsannay la Côte has now become a dormitory town for commuters. You can still find bargain, if not world-class, Pinot Noirs from this appellation, which isn't as well known. But at these prices that's not to be expected either, so Pinot Noirs for the day. After 18 years of perfect storage, this Marsannay is compact, straightforward and full of charm. Expected maturity now until 2025.
