2007 Gigonda's "Les Racines"

Over the years I have been able to taste some wonderful Domaine les Pallieres, all possessing a well-developed, complex, smoky bouquet of tobacco scents accompanied by soft, round, rich and warm flavor notes. However, today's trend towards more grape-like products means that such drops no longer meet with broad approval. The wine appears very cultivated, with its pleasant spiciness, the alcohol is noticeable but not dominant. Expected maturity now until 2027.
