Norbert says:
Rich Burgundy with incredible substance, limitless potential. The old Fritz and his congenial son, the young Fritz, who have been responsible for the sensational qualities for years, from the tranquil town of Schweigen in the Palatinate, are German winegrower icons. Fritz Junior has assembled a monumental collection that fully captures the potential of the 2013 vintage. The wine has a hesitantly flaring aroma: cherries, nougat, cinnamon and smoke. It all unfolds in slow motion and calls for a large glass. Estimated maturity now until 2030.
