Norbert says:
The wine of the small Domaine de Chevalier, which is hidden in a forest on the southwestern outskirts of Leognan, is really something for connoisseurs. One of the best dry whites of the vintage, the 2000 offers notes of lanolin, citrus, grapefruit, smoke and minerals, with hints of toasted wood in the background. This medium to full-bodied, deep, concentrated, pure, intense wine is a great success for the vintage. Expected maturity now until 2025.
