2012 Crozes Hermitage

Rich, dense, but not fat. Not overflowing, but simple, just very intense. From black cherry to mulberry. Lots of black elements, earthy, burnt flesh too. The nose continues in the mouth. So much impact and power and so much rich, black fruit. Black cherry, burnt flesh, carved saddle leather, Amarena cherry, dense, rich, lush, almost showing a slateness in its rock structure at the back, with fine salt. A high intensity from its extremely ripe fruitiness, Santi without tannin sharpness. Expected maturity now until 2029.
