2015 Steep piece of Riesling dry
2015 Steep piece of Riesling dry
Norbert says:
Read as an unnameable Ultra-GG from the Laurentiuslay steep slope, the best location of the Grans-Fassian winery. Ancient vines, single pole training, ungrafted vine material over 100 years old. Very small yield, mashed as a whole bunch with stems and left out of the mash for several days. Further fermented in steel and left on the full lees for a year. Naturally fermented spontaneously. Very concentrated, creamy nose with phenol and tannins, strong spiciness, yellow and white fruit, some pepper, salted lemon, enormous power in the mouth. Estimated maturity now until 2030.
