The right wine for the next barbecue party. This Lafite-Rothschild has engraved the 1999 vintage and an eclipsed sun on the bottle, commemorating the historic August 1999 event. The wonderful wine, the quintessence of a Lafite-Rotschild, is both elegant and intensely aromatic, almost transparent in its layers that unfold without any heaviness. An impenetrable ruby ​​to crimson red is accompanied by a complex bouquet of pencil, graphite, cedar, crème de cassis, toast and vanilla. This exceptional Lafite looks more and more like a modern copy of the majestic 1953. Only a third of the harvest of this century wine was considered for the Grand Vin. Expected maturity now until 2045.
