Norbert says:
Here on the Côte de Rotie, only red wine is produced, mainly Syrah and Viognier, which can be added up to a maximum of 20%, but hardly anyone uses it. The farm farms only 2 hectares, which is negligible, plus 0.48 hectares of Condrieu. The cool, deep cellars at Condrieu on the Côte de Rotie and at Ampuis are among the coldest in the region. As a result, the wines do not suffer from major temperature fluctuations. The wines do not reach the level of the Guigal Crus, but they rank right behind them. Estimated maturity now until 2033.
