Norbert says:
In the Cornas region, only red wine is produced from the Syrah grape variety. The aromas of the wine are black fruits, earth, minerals, occasionally truffles, smoked herbs and meat are common. The structure is massive, rich in tannins, somewhat rugged. The wine has a lot of body, length and firmness. The 2001 boasts a powerful bouquet of dark fruits and fine toast-spicy new oak. The rich, concentrated Cornas presents itself with complex fruit, low acidity and a lush structure. For a drop of this appellation, it has amazing finesse. Estimated maturity now until 2035.
